The Student Council even held a naming contest and the Tiger Patch Learning Garden, commonly called “the Tiger(…)

What Teachers Say

We are so fortunate to have the Tiger Patch Garden at our school.  With the help of our garden experts, we are able to connect many of our math and science concepts to things happening in the garden.  The garden is like an outdoor classroom that promotes hands-on activities and makes learning so meaningful for my students. Kindergarten loves to explore and observe the many wonderful things going on each week

Michelle Corey
Kindergarten Teacher

The Tiger Patch Garden is an excellent cross-curricular learning experience. My students make connections throughout the week to things they have learned in the garden.

April Bunn
2nd Grade Teacher

The garden provides practical, inspiring opportunities for ‘growth’ that have a positive impact in our daily instruction
