GoSprouts.org: TriCity News says…

tcn-headerWe were thrilled to be mentioned in a recent article by the TriCity News as an example of how micro-organizing can lead to other great ideas. Here’s a quote from the article:

“Take what’s happening up in Atlantic Highlands, a town this newspaper has long spotlighted for its potential and progressive community. As demonstrated at TEDxNavesink, the town has nurtured a surge in community action and creative connection. Very quietly and very efficiently, fueled by cookies and homegrown greens.”

They go on to highlight Gail Woods and the “Happy for Goals” fundraiser video filmed by Mike Boylan as well as…you guessed it…Laurie Brekke and Hope Hanlon for our learning garden and GoSprouts.org efforts!! We’re enormously proud of all our Atlantic Highlands residents and their civic minded goals and forward-thinking ideas. Check out the entire article.
